WordPress Developer in Edinburgh

We are working with a respected Edinburgh organisation to appoint a WordPress Developer. The salary ranges from £28,000 to £40,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.

About the role

In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Designing, building and maintaining software and systems to agreed standards.
  • Writing clean, well documented and testable code.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborating with designers, product owners and colleagues.
  • Taking part in code reviews and planning sessions.
  • Keeping up to date with new tools and best practice.

What we are looking for

  • Commercial experience in a similar technical role.
  • Strong problem solving ability.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and workflows.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team.
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom.
