Job Description

WordPress Developer in Doncaster

We are working with a respected Doncaster organisation to appoint a WordPress Developer. The salary ranges from £30,000 to £38,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.

About the role

In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes building and maintaining WordPress sites for a range of clients and developing custom themes and plugins, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining WordPress sites for a range of clients.
  • Developing custom themes and plugins.
  • Handling site migrations, updates and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshooting issues across hosting environments.
  • Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Commercial WordPress development experience.
  • Solid PHP, MySQL and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Experience with page builders and WooCommerce.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom.
