Van Delivery Driver in Nottingham
A Nottingham based organisation is recruiting a Van Delivery Driver to join its growing team. The role pays between £23,000 and £26,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes delivering parcels on a set local route and completing 60 to 80 drops per day accurately, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering parcels on a set local route.
- Completing 60 to 80 drops per day accurately.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Providing friendly doorstep service.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
- Delivery or driving experience is helpful.
- Physical fitness for repeated lifting.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
