Job Description

UX Designer in Manchester

An established employer in Manchester is hiring a UX Designer. The position offers a salary of £38,000 to £48,000 depending on experience, with structured support from day one.

About the role

In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes designing user journeys, wireframes and prototypes and running user research and usability testing, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Designing user journeys, wireframes and prototypes.
  • Running user research and usability testing.
  • Collaborating with developers on implementation.
  • Maintaining and evolving the design system.
  • Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • A portfolio demonstrating user centred design.
  • Proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience testing and iterating on real products.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom.
