Trainee Environmental Scientist – Cambridge
A Cambridge organisation is hiring a Trainee Environmental Scientist to join their team, conducting site assessments, preparing environmental impact reports and advising on regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing regular updates and reporting to your line manager
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Staying up to date with relevant industry knowledge, tools and best practice
- Taking ownership of tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Handling day-to-day queries professionally and in a timely manner
- Flagging risks or issues early and helping to resolve them constructively
- Delivering high-quality work day-to-day, consistent with company standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive
- Collaborative approach to work. No prior experience is required – full training
- Mentorship are provided
- Making this an ideal starting point for someone new to the field
Salary & Benefits: £21,000 – £26,000 per annum, Full time contract.
