Sustainability Officer in Bristol Area
A Bristol Area based organisation is recruiting a Sustainability Officer to join its growing team. The role pays between £30,000 and £36,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes tracking carbon, energy and waste data across sites and supporting the delivery of the net zero action plan, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Tracking carbon, energy and waste data across sites.
- Supporting the delivery of the net zero action plan.
- Engaging staff through campaigns and training.
- Preparing sustainability reports for leadership.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Experience or a qualification in sustainability or environmental management.
- Confident data analysis skills.
- The ability to influence without authority.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
