Statistician in Cambridge
A Cambridge based organisation is recruiting a Statistician to join its growing team. The role pays between £38,000 and £48,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes designing and analysing studies with appropriate methods and producing statistical reports and interpretation, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and analysing studies with appropriate methods.
- Producing statistical reports and interpretation.
- Advising colleagues on study design and sampling.
- Ensuring reproducibility of analysis code.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A degree in statistics or mathematics.
- Experience with R, SAS or Python.
- Clear communication of statistical concepts.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
