Sports Coach in Sheffield
We are working with a respected Sheffield organisation to appoint a Sports Coach. The salary ranges from £21,000 to £25,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes delivering coaching sessions in schools and community venues and planning sessions appropriate to age and ability, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering coaching sessions in schools and community venues.
- Planning sessions appropriate to age and ability.
- Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety at all times.
- Encouraging participation and positive behaviour.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A coaching qualification in at least one sport.
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
- Energy and a positive role model attitude.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
