Nursery Practitioner in Leeds
An established employer in Leeds is hiring a Nursery Practitioner. The position offers a salary of £20,500 to £23,500 depending on experience, with structured support from day one.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes providing warm, attentive care for children aged 0 to 5 and planning play based learning linked to the EYFS, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Providing warm, attentive care for children aged 0 to 5.
- Planning play based learning linked to the EYFS.
- Keeping learning journals and observations up to date.
- Building trusting relationships with parents.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A Level 2 or 3 early years qualification.
- Sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A nurturing, playful nature.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
