Lecturer in Business Management in Sheffield
We are working with a respected Sheffield organisation to appoint a Lecturer in Business Management. The salary ranges from £38,000 to £48,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes delivering engaging lectures and seminars at undergraduate level and designing assessments and marking to deadline, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering engaging lectures and seminars at undergraduate level.
- Designing assessments and marking to deadline.
- Supervising student projects and dissertations.
- Contributing to course development and quality review.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A masters or PhD in business or management.
- Teaching experience in higher or further education.
- A commitment to student outcomes.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
