Laboratory Technician

Role Overview

A Cambridge organisation is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team, preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment and supporting research scientists.

Location & Contract

Cambridge – Full time – £24,000 – £29,000 per annum

Key Duties

  1. Assisting with onboarding and training of new starters where required
  2. Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations
  3. Collaborating closely with colleagues across the team to achieve shared goals
  4. Adapting positively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  5. Keeping relevant systems and records up to date and accurate
  6. Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to deadline
  7. Providing regular updates and reporting to your line manager
