Job Description

Junior Web Developer in Doncaster

A Doncaster based organisation is recruiting a Junior Web Developer to join its growing team. The role pays between £24,000 and £29,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.

About the role

In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes building website features under senior guidance and fixing bugs and testing across browsers and devices, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Building website features under senior guidance.
  • Fixing bugs and testing across browsers and devices.
  • Helping maintain client sites and plugins.
  • Learning the agency stack through structured mentoring.
  • Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Foundational HTML, CSS, JavaScript and some PHP.
  • A portfolio of personal or study projects.
  • Hunger to learn commercial development.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom.
