Food Production Supervisor in Hull
We are working with a respected Hull organisation to appoint a Food Production Supervisor. The salary ranges from £27,000 to £31,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes supervising a production shift in a food manufacturing site and ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising a production shift in a food manufacturing site.
- Ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance.
- Managing line efficiency and waste.
- Training and developing operatives.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards.
- A lead from the front approach.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
