Finance Manager in Nottingham
An established employer in Nottingham is hiring a Finance Manager. The position offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, with structured support from day one.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes leading the month end close and reporting cycle and managing a small transactional finance team, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the month end close and reporting cycle.
- Managing a small transactional finance team.
- Owning cash flow forecasting and banking.
- Partnering with department heads on budgets.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A qualified or finalist accountant, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Team leadership experience.
- Strong systems and process improvement skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
