Farm Operations Assistant in Lincoln
We are working with a respected Lincoln organisation to appoint a Farm Operations Assistant. The salary ranges from £22,000 to £26,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes supporting daily livestock and field operations and operating and maintaining farm machinery safely, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting daily livestock and field operations.
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery safely.
- Keeping accurate treatment and movement records.
- Assisting with seasonal harvest activities.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Experience in agriculture or a strong practical background.
- A full driving licence, telehandler experience is a plus.
- A flexible approach to seasonal working hours.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
