Facilities Coordinator in Birmingham
We are working with a respected Birmingham organisation to appoint a Facilities Coordinator. The salary ranges from £26,000 to £30,000 and the team has a strong record of internal progression.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes coordinating planned maintenance with contractors and managing helpdesk requests through to completion, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating planned maintenance with contractors.
- Managing helpdesk requests through to completion.
- Carrying out building inspections and audits.
- Maintaining compliance records for fire and water safety.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Experience in facilities, property or building services.
- Good contractor management skills.
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
