ESOL Tutor in Bradford
A Bradford based organisation is recruiting a ESOL Tutor to join its growing team. The role pays between £26,000 and £31,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes planning and delivering ESOL classes to adult learners and assessing learner progress against individual plans, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and delivering ESOL classes to adult learners.
- Assessing learner progress against individual plans.
- Preparing learners for accredited qualifications.
- Maintaining course files and attendance records.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- A recognised ESOL or TEFL teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching adults with mixed abilities.
- Patience and creativity in the classroom.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
