Cyber Security Analyst in Leeds
An established employer in Leeds is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst. The position offers a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, with structured support from day one.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes monitoring security alerts and investigating incidents and running vulnerability scans and tracking remediation, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitoring security alerts and investigating incidents.
- Running vulnerability scans and tracking remediation.
- Maintaining security policies and awareness training.
- Supporting audits and certifications such as Cyber Essentials.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Experience in a security or infrastructure role.
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and controls.
- A relevant certification such as Security Plus is desirable.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
