Chef de Partie in York
A York based organisation is recruiting a Chef de Partie to join its growing team. The role pays between £26,000 and £29,000 per year and offers genuine scope to develop your career.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes running a section during busy services and preparing dishes to spec with consistent presentation, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Running a section during busy services.
- Preparing dishes to spec with consistent presentation.
- Managing stock rotation and food safety records.
- Supporting menu development with the head chef.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Experience at CDP level or a strong commis ready to step up.
- A Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
- Composure during high volume services.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
