CAD Technician in Nottingham
An established employer in Nottingham is hiring a CAD Technician. The position offers a salary of £26,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, with structured support from day one.
About the role
In this role you will take ownership of day to day delivery, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Typical work includes producing 2D and 3D drawings from engineer markups and maintaining drawing registers and revisions, alongside supporting wider team priorities as they arise. You will be given clear objectives, regular feedback and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Producing 2D and 3D drawings from engineer markups.
- Maintaining drawing registers and revisions.
- Supporting design reviews with accurate models.
- Preparing manufacturing and installation packs.
- Keep accurate records and produce clear updates for managers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Inventor or SolidWorks a plus.
- An engineering or construction drawing background.
- Careful revision control habits.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
